eLearning Trends

Boy, I am amazed at how much is changing in the educational system to integrate technology. I am grateful that our governments are driving change to match education to fit 21st Century learners. It only makes sense. I am not sure how rapidly things will change, however, our future depends on how we educate our youth. I remember when the USA ranked at the top for college graduates in the world. I hope that our economy will rise again so that the percentage of college graduates will rise again too.

eLearning and video production have been my specialities. I am excited for the many new opportunities that are resulting from the increased desire for technology integration.

Reflective Blog

Technology, social media, gaming and multimedia are transforming education by demanding that classes be integrative, collaborative, and empowering. Students must be in the driver seat to succeed in the digital environment. Online learning is expanding access to knowledge and personalizing learning across the country.

All these tranformative aspects are affecting my career by making instructional design an even more dynamic field to work in, which means that I must keep abreast with new technologies and rapidly learn them if necessary. eLearning is becoming the norm and I want to get in on the action and make a difference. I think it is an exciting time for me. My hope is that education can keep pace with the ever changing digital world.
